Ohio vs. Georgetown (-13.5) Point Spread Picks

Despite coming off a loss, Georgetown (23-10, 17-12 ATS) has some decent momentum coming into the NCAA Tournament. The Hoyas narrowly lost 60-58 to West Virginia in the Big East tournament but also picked up wins over Marquette and Syracuse. Overall, the Hoyas have won four of five straight up. Georgetown has been even better on NCAA basketball odds, winning five consecutive games against the spread.

Georgetown's offensive attack is led by the guard-center combo of Austin Freeman and Greg Monroe, both of whom are averaging over 16 points per game on the year. Monroe also leads the team on the glass, hauling in 9.5 boards per game. The Hoyas aren't a two-man band, however. Chris Wright, who finished third in scoring at 14.8 points per game this season, scored a team-high 20 points in the championship loss to the Mountaineers. Defensively, the Hoyas allow 65.1 points per game. They've been especially sound lately, holding their past five opponents to a 59.0 avearge.

Ohio (21-14, 18-12 ATS) is riding high after an 81-75 overtime victory over Akron to seal the MAC championship. The Bobcats have ripped off wins in five straight games and are 7-1 in their past eight outings. The success has carried over to the sportsbook, as basketball betting fans have been rewarded with a 6-0 run against the spread by Ohio, plus a 9-1 record against college basketball odds in the past 10 games.

The Bobcats spread the wealth when it comes to scoring, as five different players are averaging double figures. Armon Basset is the key, however; the junior guard paced Ohio with 16.9 points per game this season and, in the MAC championship game, he scored a team-high 25 points. Fellow guard D.J. Cooper-who finished second on the team in scoring this season-produced a well-rounded performance against Arkon, scoring 23 points while snagging seven rebounds and dishing out six assists.
