Toronto Raptors at Golden State Warriors Betting Odds

The Warriors (17-47, 35-27-1 ATS) have been miserable lately, going 0-6 in March. The latest loss was Thursday night to the Portland Trailblazers, as Golden State fell 110-105 at home. They haven't won since Feb. 27 against Detroit. Despite the train wreck straight up, the Warriors have done a serviceable job on NBA odds over the past couple of weeks; they've covered five of their last seven games against the spread, including two straight. Golden State hasn't defended its home turf especially well, though, after covering just five of its last 10 games at home.

Defense-or lack thereof-has destroyed any hopes of Golden State winning. The Warriors have allowed 116.6 points per game during their six-game losing streak and every single opponent during that stretch surpassed triple figures. That could mean all kinds of trouble Saturday night, as the Raptors rank fourth in NBA scoring at 104.0 points per game.

Just last month the Raptors (32-31, 29-34 ATS) were making a very impressive 10-2 run and positioning themselves as a dangerous first-round threat in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Now, after seven losses in eight games, they're struggling to even make the postseason. Toronto's 113-90 loss to Sacramento on Thursday was its third straight. NBA betting fans have been murdered by the Raps, who have covered just twice in their past 10 outings. Heading south of the border likely won't turn things around either-Toronto is 3-5 in its last eight road games against the spread.

Chris Bosh recently returned from injury-which cost him seven games-but has yet to regain his All-Star form. Bosh is averaging 24.1 points and 11.2 points per game on the season, but he's managed just 16.0 PPG and 8.0 RPG since rejoining the lineup. Toronto needs him to bring his "A-game" to stand a chance in the playoffs.

Toronto and Golden State have yet to clash this season but, since 2004, the Warriors have owned the series. They've gone 7-3 straight up and 8-2 on NBA odds in their past 10 games with Toronto, including four straight. The total-set at 231 at Bodog has gone over in two consecutive meetings between these squads.
