Oklahoma City Thunder (+500) vs. LA Lakers (-800)

Two of the league's most dynamic scorers-Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant-go head-to-head. It got more interesting this weekend when Lakers coach Phil Jackson called out Durant for getting preferential treatment from the refs.

Portland Trailblazers (+375) vs. Phoenix Suns (-550)

Hope you didn't put any money down until after the Brandon Roy injury was announced. Portland's best player will miss the series for knee surgery. Focus turns to Steve Nash, as the veteran point guard continues his quest for a championship.

Chicago Bulls (+1600) vs. Cleveland Cavaliers (-2800)

This year is going to be different, and LeBron James is out to prove it. The King wasn't his usual jovial self at a morning shoot-around interview this week, and the message was clear-last year's postseason loss to Orlando was unacceptable and can't happen again. The Eastern Conference is in a lot of trouble.

Miami Heat (+160) vs. Boston Celtics (-200)

Here's your best upset opportunity of the first round. The Celtics went just 3-7 in their last 10 games of the season. The Heat, meanwhile, went 18-4 down the stretch. It appears Boston's resurgence as a contender over the past few seasons is coming to an end. Dwyane Wade still has plenty left in the tank, obviously.

Utah Jazz (+150) vs. Denver Nuggets (-180)

The odds are tight, but Denver went 3-1 against the Jazz this season. Still, they haven't played each other since early February and a lot has changed since then. The Nuggets will still be without head coach George Karl, who is going through cancer treatment.

San Antonio Spurs (+135) vs. Dallas Mavericks (-165)

We're about to find out how much the Spurs have left. They lost three of their last five games-including a season-ending defeat to Dallas. The Mavericks, on the other hand, cruise in with five consecutive victories under their belt.

Milwaukee Bucks (+550) vs. Atlanta Hawks (-900)

Bad luck really hurt Milwaukee's chances when Andrew Bogut went down with a gruesome elbow injury a few weeks ago. He was second in scoring (15.9 points per game) and first in rebounding (10.2 rebounds per game) for the Bucks.

Charlotte Bobcats (+600) vs. Orlando Magic (-1000)

The Magic want to avenge last season's loss in the NBA Finals, and they've rolled since the calendar turned over to March. Since then, the Magic are 19-3. Charlotte should just try to enjoy its brief playoff appearance while it lasts.
